AN OXYGEN plant installed at the Kasaragod General Hospital in 2023 at a cost of ₹34 lakh remains non-operational more than a year later, raising concerns among hospital authorities and patients. The plant, which was designed to produce enough oxygen to simultaneously support multiple patients, was expected to provide a reliable oxygen supply for the hospital, but it has yet to be functional.
