KITE Distributes 2,161 Robotic Kits to Schools in Kannur District

The Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE), under the general education department, has completed the deployment of 2,161 robotic kits in 180 schools in the district to provide learning and practical training in the field of robotics to all class X students, starting this academic year.
The sixth chapter of the new class X ICT textbook, titled 'The World of Robots', offers students an engaging introduction to robotics by encouraging hands-on learning.
Through activities like circuit building, using sensors and actuators, and programming electronic devices, students can explore innovative ideas and gain a deeper understanding of robotic concepts. KITE will also organize a special Robofest in schools this year.
