The Karnataka government is taking significant strides to develop Yallammana Gudda into a major religious and tourist hub, drawing inspiration from Tirupati.

Tourism Minister H K Patil announced that a master plan for the comprehensive development and beautification of Shri Renuka Devi Temple at Yallammana Gudda, Saundatti, will be finalised within the next month or two. This plan will be made available to the public for suggestions and improvements.

The project is receiving substantial financial support, with Rs 120 crore allocated from both the central and state governments under the PRASAD scheme.

Key developments include the construction of accommodation facilities for devotees, a Dasoha Bhavan, and necessary infrastructure like toilets and crowd management systems.
