IT appears that the State Government has begun initiatives to establish a Textile Park in the villages of Honna Kiranagi and Nadi Sinnur within Kalaburagi district. Kalaburagi MLC Jagadev Guttedar, who is the President of the District Congress Committee, conveyed to TNIE via telephone from Bengaluru that he has raised relevant inquiries in the Legislative Council during this session and has gathered substantial information regarding the progress of establishing a Mega Textile Park in Kalaburagi district.
According to the information at his disposal, Jagadev indicated that it may take between 5 to 10 years for the Mega Textile Park to operate at full capacity within the district.
