FORMER chief minister Jagadish Shettar, who is also Belagavi MP, has criticised AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge for calling the Prime Minister a 'liar' and for not acknowledging the work done by him.
Speaking at a press conference here on Thursday, Shettar said that India's economic position, which was at the 9th spot before the NDA government assumed power, is now the fourth-largest economy in the world by nominal GDP, overtaking Japan in 2025.
Many people benefited from various welfare schemes including Ayushman Bharat, Jala Jeevan Mission, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana etc, he said.
