MLA Urges Students to Embrace Sports for Health

SPORTS will play an important role for a healthy life. In this regard, students should more and more actively participate in sports, said MLA Allama Prabhu Patil here on Friday.
Speaking as the chief guest in the district-level Dasara games organised at the Kalaburagi Chandrashekhar Patil Stadium here, he said that winning and losing are normal in sports. But one should think of defeat as a stepping stone to victory and participate in sports in a supportive manner.
Extracurricular activities should also be given priority with curricular activities at the school and college levels, Allamaprabhu Patil said.
