MGNREGA Scheme: Zilla Panchayat to Provide Employment to 1 Lakh Labourers

As a result of the decision of the Chief Executive Officer of the Zilla Panchayat, Dr. Girish Dilip Badole, to eliminate the sufferings of the poor laborers in the district, the Bidar Zilla Panchayat has formulated a strategy to provide employment to one lakh laborers in the district. It has also planned a unique program called "Kayaka Masacharane" for a month from Basava Jayanti on April 30 to May 31. It is special that the Kayaka Masacharane is being launched on the day of the Jayanti of Basavanna, who taught the world the importance of Kayaka and Dasoa.

Chief Executive Officer Dr. Girish Dilip Badole on Wednesday launched the "Kayaka Masacharane" program by digging the ground with a hoe along with the laborers at Ashtur Gram Panchayat in Bidar taluk.
