KKRDB Rolls Out ₹5,000 Crore Action Plan for Development Push

As Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot has given approval for the action plan of Rs 5,000 crore for 2025-26 of the Kalyana Karnataka Region Development Board last week, the Board will start taking steps to initiate action, so that the entire grant given to the Board will be spent in the financial year, said KKRDB chairman Dr Ajay Singh here on Tuesday.

At a press conference, Dr Ajay Singh said that of the grant of Rs 5,000 crore, an action plan has been drawn to spend Rs 2,075 crore under Micro Plan, Rs 875 crore under Macro Plan and the rest of the amount will be spent under District level Aspirational Programmes. The board chairman said that a letter would be written to all the MLAs coming under the jurisdiction of the KKRDB to prepare the action plan for their constituencies covering Macro Plan, Micro Plan and Aspirational District Plan and they should send their action plan to the Board within August 15, to ensure that works start at
