Kerala HC Adjourns Boby's Bail Plea to Jan 14

BOBY Chemmanur, accused in a sexual harassment case, will remain in jail as the Kerala High Court on Friday denied an urgent hearing on his bail plea and adjourned it to January 14.
"There is nothing special for you. Every bail application listed here is usually posted for a response from the prosecutor. This will be treated like any other case. I will hear it on Tuesday," the court said.
The bail petition was filed on Friday and the counsel for Boby Chemmanur mentioned it before the single judge in the afternoon session. However, Justice P V Kunhikrishnan said: "I usually post the bail applications on the fourth day."
