Kalaburagi Sharnbasva University's two undergraduate courses get govt nod

THE STATE government has given approval to Sharnbasva University for starting 2 new undergraduate courses - three years Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) and four years B.Sc (Honours) from the academic year 2025-26, said Vice-chancellor of the University Anilkumar Bidve and Dean of the Faculty of Science Trimbak Biradar here on Saturday.

In a press note released here, Prof Bidve and Prof Biradar stated that the government has given its approval for starting the new course with an intake of 120 students from the current academic year.

Incidentally, Sharnbasva University is the first conventional university in the region to offer B. Sc and B. Sc (Honours) course with specialisation in the emerging areas of Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Data Science, Multimedia and Animation Technology, Forensic Sciences, Geology and Remote Sensing, and other specialisations.
