Ex-Prez Ram Nath Kovind Inaugurates Seventh Bharatiya Samskruti Utsav

FORMER president of India Ram Nath Kovind inaugurated the Seventh Bharatiya Samskruti Utsav jointly organised by Kottalabasaveshwara Bharatiya Shikshana Samithi Sedam, Bharatiya Vikas Sangama and Vikas Academy of Kalaburagi at Prakruthi Nagar near Beeranahalli-Neelahalli Cross of Sedam taluk on Wednesday.

Inaugurating the nine-day-long event from January 29 to February 6, the former president said that Indians are the worshipers of nature as nature would give everything to human beings and in turn human beings will give almost nothing to nature.

People of this country will see the god in trees, rivers, oceans, animals, and agriculture fields and worship them, they also worship the ideal personalities who stood as a model to the society. Even festivals like Makar Sankranti, Holi Purnima, Ugadi Deepavali etc symbolise celebrating the seasons, he said.
