Bidar DC Makes Surprise Visits To Various Anganwadi Centres

DEPUTY Commissioner Shilpa Sharma along with officials of the Women and Child Development Department and officials of the Health and Family Welfare Department on Friday made surprise visits to various Anganwadi centers in Bidar city and taluk and Swadhara Kendras functioning through Kittur Rani, Mahila Mandal Swayamsevak Sanstha and inspected them.
Shilpa visited the house of a beneficiary in the jurisdiction of Nayakaman Anganwadi Centre in Bidar city and took stock of the incentive funds received under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana and discussed the said scheme with the beneficiaries. Similarly, she inspected the children under the Janani Suraksha Yojana of the Health and Family Welfare Department and the vaccinations administered.
