BALLARI Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mohammad Harries Sumair said water is a gift of nature and it is our collective responsibility to use it wisely and conserve it.
EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE @ Ballari He was speaking after inaugurating the World Water Day event organised on Wednesday at the Veerashaiva College Auditorium, in collaboration with the ZP, District Legal Services Authority, Rural Drinking Water and Sanitation Department and Veerashaiva College.
ZP CEO Harries Sumair said that the constitution not only grants us fundamental rights but also fundamental duties, which include environmental protection and water conservation. He called for conserving water through sustainable development for the benefit of future generations.
