The Hubballi Dharwad police have created a WhatsApp number to enable the public to lodge complaints against anti-social elements and criminal activities that they come across in the society.
Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar launched the WhatsApp number 8296813792 for this purpose.
The general public have been told to share videos and reels that they come across on social media platforms with the police on this number. Every illegal activity should be brought to the notice of the police department, the top cop said.
It is found that many rowdy-sheeters are using social media to gain popularity. To put a break to this unhealthy trend, there is a need to keep a watch
