CM: Panel to be formed to look into new rule mandating pvt hospitals to obtain No Objection Certificate from Fire Dept
The Karnataka Private Hospital Association has expressed its ire towards the state government for mandating the submission of a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Fire and Emergency Department as a prerequisite for obtaining building permissions for private hospitals exceeding 21 metres in height.
Furthermore, hospitals that have already been constructed are required to possess this certificate. Protracted delays in the issuance of NOCs and clearance certificates have emerged as huge challenges for numerous private hospitals.
