Make Gadag an industrial hub, Bommai urges entrepreneurs

MP and former CM Basavaraj Bommai has called upon industrialists and entrepreneurs to take a pledge to transform Gadag into an industrial town, stressing that the region has all the basic ingredients for industrial growth.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the golden jubilee celebrations of the Gadag Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with the silver jubilee of Gadag Utsav and felicitation of leading traders and entrepreneurs at the K H Patil Auditorium in Gadag.
Bommai said Gadag enjoys a special place in history, has a strategic geographical location and is rich in natural resources. "We need to introspect on where we have succeeded in the past 50 years. Former presidents and office bearers of the Chamber deserve appreciation for building this institution during difficult times," added Bommai.
