Gadkari raps officials over slow pace of Hubballi flyover project, offers funds

DURING a virtual meeting with the Dharwad district administration, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari rapped officials over slow pace of work on the elevated corridor being built at Rani Chennamma Circle in Hubballi.

However, Minister Gadkari assured that if there are financial issues, the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways will provide special financial assistance for this corridor project.

Gadkari, along with Union Minister for Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs, and New and Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi, the local MP, held a meeting via video conference from the former's office in New Delhi on Wednesday. They discussed the project status with the officials, received a complete report on the flyover's progress and instructed them to expedite the work.
