BJP to Launch Statewide Public Movement Against Cong Govt

Party to decide on issues to be raised and areas where public movements should be organised

STATING that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to launch a public movement against the administrative system of the state government, former chief minister and MP Basavaraj Bommai has said that in consultation with key party leaders, the party will decide on the issues to be raised and the areas where public movements should be organised, based on public sentiment.

Speaking to the media here on Monday, he said that the state's development was at a standstill. Massive corruption has occurred in the transfer of officials, from local to state level. The moral integrity of honest officials has deteriorated. Even if ruling party MLAs speak out, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar remain silent.
