NIDHISH Rajagopal's 60 played a part in Salem Spartans' six-wicket victory over Madurai Panthers in the TNPL at the CDCA-Sri Ramakrishnan college cricket ground in Coimbatore on Sunday.
Winning the toss and taking the field first, Salem restricted Madurai to a score of 164/6. M Mohammed scalped two wickets. In Salem's chase, Nidhish Rajagopal notched up his sixth TNPL fifty. He was also in a third-wicket stand of 73 runs off 56 balls with R Kavin.
