The indigenously made Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) Dhruv and Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas will not be part of the flypast display on Republic Day this year.

- MAYANK SINGH @ New Delhi

Wing Commander Jaideep Singh, Indian Air Force PRO, said, "The ALH Dhruv will not be part of the flypast as the entire fleet of 330 helicopters across the armed forces are grounded."

On January 5, an Indian Coast Guard ALH crashed at Porbandar in Gujarat. Following practice, officials grounded the entire fleet as a precaution with an SOP to check every machine.
