Starlink Needs To Submit Docs Within 21 Days For Licence

Starlink, the satellite internet service developed by SpaceX, received a letter of intent (LoI) to provide satellite broadband services in India on Thursday. Musk's company becomes the third such operator in the country after Eutelsat OneWeb and Jio Satellite Communications.

"After receiving the LoI, the company must complete all documentation and submit it to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT). Once all formalities are fulfilled, the GMPCS licence will be issued, allowing the company to start its services," said a DoT official.
