₹31cr relief denied to 1K victims

Since 2017, 1,047 victims of rape, murder and arson have been denied over ₹31.37 crore in compensation under the centre's Dr Ambedkar Foundation Scheme for Victims of Atrocities, due to delays in processing of applications by collectors, according to the Citizens' Vigilance and Monitoring Committee.
