Fire engulfs shop in B'gavi

A massive fire engulfed a plastic goods shop in the densely populated Raviwarpet area of Belagavi in the early hours of Friday, causing significant property damage and raising concerns over fire safety in commercial zones.
The blaze broke out around 3.30 am in a shop located within the Kanda (Onion) Market. The establishment, owned by Prithvi Nalvadi, was completely gutted by the time fire and emergency services reached the spot. Two adjacent shops, including a stationery outlet, also sustained partial damage due to the intensity of the flames.
