Uproar in RS as Nadda blames TMC for ‘law and order collapse’ in Bengal

LEADER of the House and Union Minister J P Nadda on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the Trinamool Congress (TMC), accusing it of allowing the collapse of law and order in West Bengal.
Responding to a supplementary query during Question Hour in the Rajya Sabha, Nadda alleged that the TMC has no respect for the judiciary, the Election Commission of India or democratic procedures. “The rule of law has gone for a ride in West Bengal,” Nadda alleged. He also blamed the TMC government in West Bengal for the situation arising from the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
