THE Delhi High Court on Wednesday came down heavily on commentator Abhijit Iyer-Mitra for making offensive remarks on social media about women journalists, referring to them as "prostitutes".
The matter was heard by Justice Purushaindra Kumar Kaurav, who did not hide his disapproval of the language used in the posts. A tense exchange took place during the hearing between the judge and advocate Jai Anant Dehadrai, who represented Iyer-Mitra.
