In a decisive move to safeguard the sanctity and intellectual property of the sacred Tirupati Laddu, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has initiated legal action against multiple unauthorized entities found selling or promoting products under the 'Tirupati Laddu' name in violation of its registered Geographical Indication.
Legal notices were issued through Sahadeva Law Chambers to several online platforms and vendors, including PushMyCart (Mahita LLC) and Transact Foods Limited, for unauthorized commercial exploitation of the Tirupati Laddu name, and falsely associating their offerings with the temple.

Make data on hospital beds public: HC
IN a major order on the city’s public health infrastructure, the Delhi High Court has directed the Delhi government and the National Informatics Centre to study the feasibility of making data on availability of emergency and trauma-related facilities and beds in government hospitals available on areal-time basis in a mobile application, so that “patients, police personnel who usually deal with accident victims, ambulance providers, private hospitals, etc., can access it easily”.
