KL Rahul's unbeaten 112 from 65 balls for Delhi Capitals went in vain as B Sai Sudharsan hit an unbeaten 108 while Shubman Gill slammed 93 not out to help Gujarat Titans win by 10 wickets and enter the playoffs at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday.
Coming into the match, Delhi had a spot open at the top with Jake Fraser-McGurk not returning to the IPL. As a result, the team management wanted to have Rahul, giving the solidity and consistency in the lead up to the playoffs. Rahul made the most of the chance and became the first right-handed batter to score a century this IPL season.
