RBI Allows SIP in Treasury Bills via Retail Direct

NOW retail investors will be able to invest in treasury bills via systematic investment plans (SIPs) on the RBI's Retail Direct platform, governor Sanjay Malhotra said on Wednesday.
This is part of the expansion plan of Retail Direct scheme, under which retail investors can invest in government securities.
