Ramdev 'apology' humbug, says SC, seeks fresh reply

THE Supreme Court on Tuesday came down heavily on Patanjali Ayurved for putting out misleading advertisements to promote its products and running down modern medicine.
A bench headed by Justice Hima Kohli also refused to accept the apology tendered by the firm's founder Baba Ramdev and managing director Acharya Balkrishna but gave the company one last chance to file its response within a week and fixed the matter for further hearing on April 10.
