PRIME Minister Modi will embark on a four-day visit to two distant island nations — the United Kingdom and the Maldives — from July 23, aimed at strengthening bilateral partnerships on strategic, economic, and trade fronts.

In London, PM Modi will hold talks with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and meet King Charles III. The visit will also include interactions with top business leaders from both nations. "This visit, though a short one, will give both leaders the opportunity to review the entire gamut of the bilateral relationship," said foreign secretary Vikram Misri.
