Panel formed to probe irregularities in dissolved medical council: Official

THE Delhi Government has constituted a high-level inquiry committee to investigate serious allegations of financial and administrative irregularities in the now-dissolved Delhi Medical Council (DMC), including alleged misconduct by its former top officials.
The five-member panel, chaired by Dr Digvijay Dutta, Medical Superintendent of Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial Hospital, has been tasked with probing complaints related to mismanagement, procedural violations and unauthorised decisions made by the previous Committee, including former Registrar Dr Girish Tyagi, as well as the Council's former President and Vice President.
