J’khand villagers told to lock BLOs during home visit

MUMBAI Jharkhand Health Minister Dr Irfan Ansari on Sunday sparked a political storm after he urged people to “lock” Booth Level Officers (BLOs) inside their homes if they arrived to conduct the SIR. Addressing residents at the “Seva Ke Adhikar Saptah” programme in Jamtara, Ansari alleged that the process was being misused to strike genuine voters off the rolls.
