A girl from Jammu has scripted history by becoming the first J&K native who will lead the All India National Cadet Corps (NCC) girls contingent as parade commander at the Kartavya Path Parade in New Delhi on Republic Day 2025.
Ekta Kumari, a BSc student at Government College for Women Gandhi Nagar in Jammu and hailing from Akhnoor, is leading cadet of 1 J&K Naval for Unit NCC. This is the first instance when a girl from J&K would serve as par
