Claiming to present proofs, the minister said ED pressured witnesses and the accused

THE Enforcement Directorate has dismissed the charges made by Delhi Minister Atishi on Tuesday accusing the Central agency of deleting audios of statements of the accused and witnesses recorded as part of the money laundering probe linked to alleged irregularities in the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy 2021-22.
Claiming to present several proofs, the minister said the ED had pressured witnesses and the accused to provide statements against AAP leaders and destroyed crucial audio files of investigations.
She also cited a Supreme Court order of 2020 for CCTV surveillance during investigations and challenged ED to provide details of audio recordings in the alleged liquor scam case.
