C’garh cops start poster campaign against Naxals

AMID the ongoing offensive against Maoists in Chhattisgarh, police in Kanker district of Bastar region have put up posters and banners that carry the identity of ‘wanted Naxalites’. Police seek villagers’ help to locate the Maoists carrying awards.

In the posters and banners, Kanker police have appealed to the Maoists to relinquish violence and surrender to them.

They say villagers providing information about the Maoists shown in the posters will be rewarded, but their names will be kept confidential.
