Joint search operations by Army and J&K Police in Desa forest area of Doda dist attacked
EIGHT days after five soldiers were gunned down in an ambush on their convoy in Kathua, four Army men, including a Captain, were killed in an overnight gunfight with militants in the mountainous Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Jammu-based defence spokesman Lt Colonel Suneel Bartwal said a joint operation was launched by Army and J&K Police at Dhari Gote Urarbagi in Desa forest area in Doda district on Monday evening after receiving inputs about the presence of a group of militants there.
