BJP Will 'Fake' Financial Crisis to Evade Poll Promises: Atishi

CARETAKER Chief Minister Atishi on Friday said her government handed over a fiscally strong and revenue-surplus economy to the incoming BJP government, ensuring there are no financial roadblocks to fulfilling the poll promises made to Delhi citizens.
Hitting back at Atishi, BJP MP from South Delhi Ramvir Singh Bidhuri alleged that the coffers are empty due to AAP's corrupt governance.
Addressing the press, Atishi said under AAP's governance, Delhi's budget has grown from ₹31,000 crore in 2014-15 to ₹77,000 crore in 2024-25, with the state maintaining a revenue surplus since 2015.
