BAFANA Bafana don't have the luxury to be “friendly” between now and the last day of the Africa Cup of Nations on January 18. It’s all systems go as they aim to surpass their third-place finish from the last edition of the continental showpiece in Ivory Coast.

So, when Zambia arrive in the country for the scheduled international friendly at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday evening (kickoff 6pm), they had better know that the battle lines will be drawn.
On paper, this is a Cosafa clash with bragging rights at stake. But Bafana coach Hugo Broos wants to win this clash for more than one reason.
He wants victory to maintain their top-10 ranking on the continent and to keep the team’s winning momentum ~ stretching their unbeaten run to 25 matches in all competitions.
