Family sets up petition against bail in Taryn Le Roux murder case

THE family of murdered Westville resident Taryn Le Roux are preparing for the bail application of her husband, Nicolas Le Roux, who is charged with her murder.
Taryn was shot dead on September 15 this year. Le Roux, a former soldier, is alleged to have shot his wife at a Westville pub after a heated argument.
He is also facing charges of handling a firearm under the influence of a substance, possession of a firearm or ammunition with intent to cause an offence or resist arrest, possession of an unlicensed firearm, and possession of unlicensed ammunition.
Taryn's niece, Lisa Beresford-Mnyandu, confirmed that Le Roux will be back in court this week for his bail application.
“The accused now has legal aid representing him and will apply for bail on 25 November 2025 in Pinetown”
