Walker left clinging to rocks above 25m drop

RESCUE teams rushed to the aid of a walker who slipped and was left clinging to a cliff edge while on an evening stroll.

Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS) and Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team were alerted to a serious incident near Kipper Hill, Berwick, just after 8.30pm on Wednesday.
It was reported the walker was left clinging to the rocks above an estimated 25m drop. Fire and rescue teams from Berwick and Eyemouth were called to the scene, and support was requested from Mountain Rescue and HM Coastguard.
