Two dead as ship hits bridge

NEW York City’s Mayor Eric Adams has said two people have died after a Mexican navy tall ship hit the city's Brooklyn Bridge.

The Cuauhtemoc sailing ship struck the bridge on Saturday night, snapping its three masts, injuring crew members and leaving some of them dangling from harnesses high in the air, waiting for help. Mr Adams said at least 19 people needed medical treatment after the
