IT'S a huge summer for Newcastle United star Tino Livramento. Fresh from helping the Magpies qualify for the Champions League - and with a Carabao Cup winners medal in his trophy cabinet the young full-back is currently impressing on England duty at the U21 Euros.

- STUART JAMIESON

The 22-year-old was man of the match in the opening group game, a 3-1 win over Czechia, and was again on good form despite Lee Carsley's men being held to a goalless draw with Slovenia on Sunday.

Next up is a huge test against Germany tonight, but the Newcastle star has already showcased his talents.

Senior head coach Thomas Tuchel spoke about his importance to the Under-21 side last week, outlining why he was keen to see him as a leader at U21 level in a major tournament, rather than call him into the full squad.
