RYAN Campbell was proud of his Durham charges after they earned a comprehensive first win of the new season.
Durham beat Gloucestershire in Bristol by a whopping innings and 225 runs on Sunday after a fine all-round team performance.
They were thwarted against Kent in the season’s opener by storm damage, which meant they lost a day of play.
But they only needed three days to wrap this one up and Campbell said: “T am very proud of that performance.
“It was the sort of cricket Durham have been renowned for and, while we may have lost our way a bit last year, this team doesn’t lose their ability because a few things went against us.
“We have worked so hard in the off season to correct a few wrongs.
