Sky's the limit for Miley, says Joelinton

JOELINTON feels the “sky is the limit” for Newcastle United teenager Lewis Miley after he made his presence felt against Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

- By LEE RYDER Chief Newcastle writer

Miley weighed in with an assist and a goal against the Toffees to underline his potential and after being handed an opportunity ahead of Sandro Tonali, he gave Eddie Howe a real headache going into the next run of matches. Two years ago, Miley burst on to the scene as a raw kid from the Academy but then suffered injury woe.

With that behind him, he is beginning to get close to the early potential shown and he looked unflappable in midfield alongside Joelinton and Bruno Guimaraes. Howe now has a dilemma over the youngster with competition strong.

Joelinton told The Journal: “Lewis is a great player, and also a great guy. Every time he steps on to the pitch he shows his qualities.
