Police drone detected cannabis farm from excessive heat

A LARGE cannabis farm was discovered thanks to police drone footage picking up excessive heat emanating from it.

Police raided the property and found illegal immigrant Jetmir Serjanaj inside, who had been helping to look after the commercial operation.
It was on January 26 this year that police attended a property on Richard Street, in Hetton-le-Hole near Sunderland after heat was detected by the drone which indicated there could be a cannabis farm there.
