Peace & Loaf on the market

> Peace and Loaf in Jesmond, Newcastle is up for sale

Peace & Loaf in Jesmond earned a strong reputation for plating up the "best of the best food", having been launched by MasterChef finalist Dave Coulson in a partnership with the owners of Sachins restaurant in Newcastle.

Serving up "raw and simple British fayre with new ideas", the three-floor restaurant welcomed in thousands of delighted diners over the years, thanks to its innovative and intricately presented dishes.

Last summer, the business announced it was taking a break to give staff the chance to "recharge and refuel", but on the eve of its scheduled reopening in September, Mr Coulson posted a heartfelt "goodbye" post, confirming its permanent closure.
