New owners vow to help club 'reach its full potential'

THE Red Bull group has taken full ownership of Newcastle Falcons rugby club in a move described as a “landmark moment" for the sport.

Red Bull has a wealth of experience in the sports world, partnering with over 900 athletes and teams since it was founded in 1987. It has found success with two Formula One teams and built partnerships with multiple high-level football clubs, leading to silverware across the board.
Oliver Mintzlaff, Red Bull CEO Corporate Projects and Investments, said: “Together, we aim to elevate rugby to new heights and deliver unforgettable moments for our fans. We're delighted to have acquired Newcastle Red Bulls and look forward to empowering the club to reach its full competitive potential.”
