Man jumped out of window as police raided cannabis farm

A DOPEY cannabis farmer injured himself by jumping out of a second floor window as police raided following a tip-off from workmen.
Builders renovating a three-storey building on Cattle Market, in Hexham, on May 14, raised concerns that there may be a cannabis farm present due the fact wires leading to the upstairs of the property appeared to be overheating.
Police forced entry through a locked door on the second floor.
Gurjot Kaur, prosecuting, told Newcastle Crown Court: “Once inside, officers saw the defendant climbing out of a rear bathroom window.
