Luxury hotel transformed after £3m makeover

A PRIME Newcastle hotel has unveiled a complete refurbishment of its room and suites, bringing a vibrant, colourful and contemporary feel to its boutique signature style, with an investment of £3m.

The stunning suite refurbishment inside Malmaison Newcastle

The transformation of Malmaison Newcastle, one of the city's most iconic Quayside landmarks, includes a redesign of all 122 bedrooms spread across seven floors.

On the top floor sit 14 suites - all named after ships referencing Newcastle's shipbuilding history - boasting stunning views of the River Tyne and the Millenium and Tyne Bridges.

The refreshed interiors of the major makeover take inspiration from the city's industrial heritage and contributions to art and music, with corridors featuring nods to the iconic Tyne Bridge and subtle shading references of the magpie feathers.
