Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow in Turkey

My husband went to Turkey for work over the Easter holidays.

Which is far more of an insult than him going to just normal work, if you ask me.

Because I too would like to put a few thousand miles between myself and all of the children off school right now.

Even though, presumably, some of them would also be on holiday in Turkey.

It seems like I'd be able to tolerate them swarming around my feet at an airport. Far better than them doing so in the local park or supermarket.

I told Mr C I would forgive him, as long as he promised to not have a good time.

Not even for a minute.

Because that's the kind of wife I am.

He acquiesced.

But I also stated that the weather must be terrible. The food, passable at best. And there be some sort of major travel delay, just bad enough to make him reluctant to plan another exotic work trip anytime soon.
